On the main road to the northern unspoiled beaches of Morjim and Ashwem,
halfway between the superb St Anthony's Cathederal and the port in Siolim,
is the 1930s colonial grand house, The Hotel Soraya. It is set in an acre of
tropical landscaped walled gardens, with fruit bearing trees such as oak sized
mangoes. Only organic and eco friendly products are used.
Begins with a large verandah, giving view to the colourful outside world, including
the occasional elephant! The inside includes a spacious drawing room with 8 meter
ceilings. Other features include a dining room with a crystal lit chandelier, and
3 double bedrooms, a fully functional kitchen, and cable TV. The house sleeps up to
8 guests. Guests are welcome to cook dinners, and a barbeque is always popular.
Pets are also welcome, with 3 resident cats, and a dog.
The Bungalow is set within the grounds of the main house, and has its own pretty garden, and a separate entrance.
One large living room, bedroom, comfortably sleeps two, and has all the mod cons such as satellite TV and A/C.
Fully fitted kitchen and also a large shower room, with rainwater showers.
